Dr. Nancy Mueller – Project Manager 

Dr. Nancy Mueller could collect valuable experiences as student, PhD student as well as postdoc at various national and international universities. After successfully completing the basic study period at the University of Rostock, she changed to the Eberhard Karls University of Tuebingen to further strengthen her scientific focus in molecular biology in the fields of Human Genetics, Parasitology and Virology. She graduated successfully with an external diploma thesis (equivalent to master´s thesis) at the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg. During her PhD at the Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, she gained multi-annual experiences in working in a BSL-3 laboratory. Afterwards, Ms Dr. Nancy Mueller worked as postdoc at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg whereas she contributed to the establishment of the new Institute of Inflammation and Neurodegeneration as well as managed the weekly institute meetings. The acquisition of the certificate according to §15 GenTSV enabled her to establish and manage the BSL-2 laboratories in the new institute as project manager.

During her scientific education for many years, she published in renowned journals (current list of publications) and participated in various national and international conferences on which she presented her scientific results. Due to her international experiences, she has a very good command of the English and Dutch language as well as basic communication skills in the French language next to her first language German.

Ms Dr. Nancy Mueller is project manager and supports the company with great enthusiasm and social engagement. She is responsible for the quality management as well as taking care of national and international business relationships.
